Albert Herbst (1976)⁷ Albertus (Albert) Bernardus van Niekerk Herbst (1920 - 1991 [70]) He was principal of the Jac van Belkum-kinderhuis in Krugersdorp from 1946-1956. He was then appointed  administrateur van die Algemene Kerkvergadering ( from 1956 to at least 1981). He was also chairman of the Maatskappy vir Europese Immigrasie. During the mid-1940s he served on the building comittee of the Brakpan NHK congregation. In 1988 the Albert Herbst-kinderhuis (orphanage) in Middelburg was named after him. Herbst also initiated the NHW Pers (press that printed Die Hervormer and Almanak ).⁵ The NHW Builders was established during 1951. Mr Arie van Delft served as the manager until 1976. Johannes Stephanus Joubert

Lifespan: 1870 Tulbagh -1949 Heidelberg (Gauteng) Occupation: Building contractor Family: He married Johanna Cornelia Delport (1873 - 1918 Ermelo), then Anna Hermina Boshoff (1873 Z.A.R. - 1940 Heidelberg). Joubert and Boshoff were buried in the Kloof Cemetary (Heidelberg). Joubert was a building contractor in the Heidelberg (Gauteng) area.
